First Looks - Sansa View

[article image]

Saw Santa over the weekend... look what he got me...

Yes, it's the new Sansa View.

Very sleek piece:

- Much improved scroll wheel from the E200 series, more like the Sansa Connect feel

- the 2.4" screen on this thing is absolutely gorgeous and pleasant to watch video's

- Similar/Same GUI as Sansa family

- Mp3/FM/Audio books

- nice rubberized feel on the back of the unit

- works great and instantly recognized with Windows Media player for syncing music and video

* front plastic similar to the Connect, so fingerprints and smudging will be an issue

* also see a protective screen film being a big attach rate sell for this unit

* This unit although thin, is the largest sized Sansa unit to come out yet (longer)

I like how the engineers built in the Home/function LED's so that when you are watching video's (sideways) they switch locations

At 8 and 16gig, these things can pack alot of media. Should be a very interesting holiday season!!
