Get 100 free MP3s

You've may have heard of eMusic, the online store that sells DRM-free MP3s.

If not, it's an online store that sells DRM-free MP3s.
The service normally offers 25 or even 50 free downloads as part of its one-month subscription trial, but right now you can get a whopping 100 tunes absolutely gratis.

eMusic boasts a library of 3.5 million songs.  The downloads are unprotected MP3s, so they'll play on on your Sansa.

The trial has no strings attached, so if you cancel within 30 days, you walk away with your 100 free songs.

But you may want to consider becoming a subscriber, which you can do for as little as $9.99 (good for 30 downloads per month, the equivalent of 33 cents per song.

As an eMusic user I can tell you this it is a great service. But it has some Cavets. The Library is large but it has little to no Mainstream artists. There is quite alot of Back catalog of well-known artists. If you're into Indie Music this is the place to be. eMusic has quite a bit of On the Bubble and rising indie artists or out of Market titles for current groups or re-releases of older albums for classic groups. ONE MAJOR CAVET is be sure to sample a track on the album FIRST. eMusic has a lot of "I can't believe it's not butter" sound a likes for some of the albums just because it says it's by the artist doesn't mean it actually sung by them. But keep a look out for out of market or region albums i've seen some overseas albums for groups that weren't or different than released here.

But eMusic has a lot of good things going to besides that no DRM. it offers quite a few free tracks to try without even signing up. it also has a easy to use download manager that allows you to browse the library. it also shows you who has the same taste in music and who's listening to what in your area so it's worth a try if you heed my warning. they aren't perfect but i scored quite a few cool downloads
