I've been aware of this for years, but then again , that was originally released in 1978 when I was 7, but perhaps many of you in our Sansa world were even younger or not even born. He was the first one to go that nuts up on the fretboard with both hands...lots of famous and great guitarists in their own right owe him a debt, for he opened people's eyes as to what else could be done with the guitar. Jimi Hendrix was the first great innovator...Eddie was the next...then Joe Satriani...who in turn taught Kirk Hammett and Steve Vai when they started out...but I'm starting to ramble on like an old coot...lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the music, and these thoughts are all IMHO :o)
