I love fuse! How about u?

Don't buy it. This is my 4th and least favorite MP3 player. It constantly freezes and needs to be reset. It recently started adding every song twice. Also, the music software shows my fuze is empty, but the device shows songs loaded. And, you cannot load music that was ripped with WMA Pro. You have to downgrade to 10.

I love my Sansa Fuze mp3 player but the only problem i have been haveing is that it will turn off and wont come back on no matter what i do to it. Do you have any thoughts on how to fix this problem if so please let me know? Thank you so much

Hmm...I am no technophile but I figured mine out pretty quick. I got mine as a 'damaged' unit (someone had tried to steal it and got away with the software and manual). I got the necessary accessories, plus some extras, for about $5 from amazon.com and my husband has an older sansa so we had the software already. Now all I need is to find out how to make it quit erasing what is on it and replacing it with whatever is on the computer at the time. I think that will have to do with the USB settings but I just came on here to make sure. I haven't had any problems with it, the menu options are clear and I just had to get used to spinning to get where I wanted to go instead of pressing the button all the time. Idk why everyone else has had so many problems.

1st download and read the manual. it'll help you with most of the problems. I've figured them out over the past year just trying things until I got a response.
To solve a lock up, hold the lock/hold/on switch UP for at least 10 seconds. It'll reset the player. I had an audiobook lock up 2x at the same spot. It was something in the file. The 1st time I removed micro sd card and it reset when I reinstalled it. The 2nd time I held the reset button and it reset.
make sure you download the newest firmware.
also when the battery completely drains, it won't do anything until after it charges, it won't even show it's charging.
