Yup, I decided to buy an e280. I already clicked the "Purchase" button, so please don't say things like "Wait!"

I thought I'd write something up about why I chose the Sansa over other possibilities like the Nano, iAudio X5, Creative and more. Actually, there was what may be regarded as a silly reason as to why I went w/ the Sansa and had my choices narrowed down so quickly - I wanted to be able to put the Rockbox firmware on it. 

Anyway, I wrote up some quick notes on how I made my choice, and it turned out to be a whole lot longer than I imagined. I posted it up at Gizmos for Geeks. I have to say though that just based on raw features, price point, looks and reputation, the Sansa does look like a solid product, and I can't wait to get mine.
