The Sansa Clip is the first MP3 player I've ever owned. I purchased the Clip in order to download audio books. I haven't been successful downloading from Net Library. The book is in the Clip but there isn't any sound. You mention that the Clip comes with great Audible Audio book support. Am I correct in assuming that the Net Library books are in a different format? Is there a step by step tutorial for newbies to show them how to download an audiobook in a specific format? Thank-you for any help you can give me.
I have had the honor of being one of the first to road test this unit.
I have the Sansa E280, Sansa Express, Sansa Connect, Sandisk DAP 1G, Sansa E140 (my fav headphones still) and even the original Sandisk Cruzer Micro MP3 Companion....
I have to say of all of these, the Sansa Clip is my favourite so far.
- Tiny with clip = convenient
- Great battery life
- Excellent Mic / record quality
- Clear FM
- MP3's sound great with EQ
- and love love love the Audible Audio book support!!
Great Job SANSA TEAM!!
A question about the Sansa Clips compatibility with the Mac OX system. I have purchased the 2gb clip and my Mac system dose not read the the Mp3 files stored in the Music folder. Any Feed Back is welcome. I have owned the Sansa 280 for a while and the Mac OX system reads the files fine...

Musicalfan - Make sure that you have the clip in MSC mode and it should work just fine, since macs don't have MTP drivers
Gloria - What filetype is the Audio books that you're downloading from Net Library? Audible.com is the only place that you'll find AA's so I'm assuming that N.L uses Wma's.. they SHOULD work just fine. Also what firmware revision do you have?
