somehow i have lost the connecting software cd that came with my sansa connect, i had to reformat my laptop and now my computer doesn't even recognize my player. The result is not being able to download any music onto my player. I have gone to the offical sansa website but there is not anything on line for the connect, so i was wordering if anyone had any ideas of how i ca get my music into my player or a website, or anything that could help me out.

Gilbert, United StatesWindows should recognize the player automatically when you plug it into your laptop.
If no window pops up when you do, then take a look in explorer and see if it shows a Sansa Connect folder at the bottom. If not then I would guess something in your new Windows install is making it so your Connect is not recognized.

Gilbert, United Statesim will i have tried the recovery tool several times my computer reconizes it but my multi media does not . multi media is 11 and vista operating and is updated.i have spent probly a week on trying to get this to work. please help. i never got a software cd with my sansa connect should i have?
get rid of the sansa connect i did . igot a phillips alot better and comes with software cd
