I auto installed the new firmware and now my view wont boot up.  The screen says   Invalid image, object loading failed while booting, Please connect USB cable     I connect the USB and still nothing. I'v always had to use msc mode and not mtp mode. This is my second view since x-mas.

You might try this.

Hold on button up for 45 secs. Let go and then turn on.

If that doesn't work, then hold up for 10 secs, when screen goes black, slide down to lock position.

While in lock position hold the home button down and plug in the USB. See if it reads anything and then turn off/on again and see if it comes up.

None of that worked. Maybe the update was corupt in some way. I purchased a additional warranty with the player, I think I'll just return it.   Thanks

Before you do that, you might want to call Sandisk Support.  They have some other tricks, but I don't want to mention them, becuase some could brick the Sansa and may void the warranty. If they recommend it then they have still have to honor the warranty if something happens.
