Hi everyone, I'm not finding what I'm looking for here so I thought I'd ask for some help.  I got an 8mb Sansa View a month ago and the plan is to load it with music and videos for a rather long plane trip.   I've managed to get my videos onto the player via the Sansa conversion software, but I'm finding that about 35 minutes into all of them the video and audio are no longer in synch with each other.  (However, they are in synch on the computer.)  What am I doing wrong?  Is this a known flaw with Sansa's software?  Are there any tricks of the trade that I can pick up from the rest of the community?  Thanks so much!

I am not sure why you are loosing the Sync. Might try playing it on a PC and see if does the same.

You might want to try  Any-Video-Converter. It's a great, free utility that can be downloaded here. www.Any-Video-Converter.com  Make sure to pick the Free one.

 Then try these settings.

Container (file extension) .Mp4
Resolution: 320x240
Frame Rate: 30FPS
Video: 384 or 512
Audio: 128/192kbps (up to you really)
Sample: 44100

Take the converted file, once done, and drag and drop into the Video folder of the View.

Thanks so much for the tips.  I'm going to try downloading those programs now and I'll let you know how it goes.

Glad you got it going and it does what you need. But don't be a stranger, check in here often. You never know what you may find out. :)
