I've had the clip for about 5 months now and it's always worked fine. Yesterday I tried to open the player from "My Computer" so I could upload more songs, but everytime I tried to do this the folder would freeze. I've tried it about 50 times, but it freezes no matter what. I don't understand what's going on and why it's doing this all of a sudden. I can listen to the songs that are on it without a problem and it's charging normally with the usb cable.

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution? I'm running Vista. My computer is free of viruses and spyware.

Is there another way to load songs onto the Sansa besides going through the My Computer > Sansa folder?

Thanks

I have never had this problem, but I don't run Vista. But you should be able to sync with Windows media player.

Try performing a check disk on the clip by right clicking on it, going to properties and selecting the tools tab.
If that doesn't work, a format may be required though before doing that, i'd try another computer
