A new firmware has been recently released for the Sansa View. The new revision is 01.03.02 and is available through the Sansa Firmware Updater. This firmware's main feature added, is that it now gives you the option to select MSC mode via the GUI. No more pressing and holding the left button with the hold switch.. Mac and Nix users rejoice ;)

Is this still the latest firmware or has there been a newer release?

I am wondering if we should post the firmwares in the download (manuals) section.

Tired of waiting for your device to do what you need it to?

yup still the newest.. ETA on the next is unknown.
Posting in the download section sounds good.. maybe we could even get a Firmware section and host the newest ones for each player as well as a few previous revisions, in case a roll back is needed

Hey. Just noticed something. When I updated my firmware, I can't switch through the videos when I'm in video mode. The artist info above the music bar also keeps sticking. Is this a known problem?

Hmm, sounds like a possible flashing problem. Try re-flashing the firmware and see if it continues

Would I just hook it up to the updater and let it run it's course? Or...?
