I used Rhapsody software to format my 16GB View, then it would only show as a portable drive.  I cannot figure out how to make it read as a player again.  The only thing on the "drive" is a Version.txt file.  Any help?

Has the device been disconnected and reconnected since the format? Also try power-cycling the device. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling it from Device Manager, disconnect, then re-connect it to the computer to re-install the driver

It has been disconnected and reconnected, same result. I have tried what I think are the power cycles. Turn on, hold rewind and plug into USB connection, no change. I'll try the device manager.

Power cycle is hold the power up for 30 seconds then power on as you normally would.
