Hey guys!

Obviously I'm new here and I just want to share my new-found excitement about my new Sansa Fuze purchase which I will be getting tomorrow. There's quite a story to this though, and I won't bore you with the details other than I only recently discovered that the Fuze supports Rhapsody Channels--this, after going mad trying to find out WHY Sansa discontinued the e200R series as well as trying to figure out HOW to order the updated version of that being the RhapPFS e200. The WHOLE time the Fuze was sitting right under my nose. And this, after having already bought AND returned an Ibiza Rhapsody(defective & too big), a regular Sansa e200 series(without Rhapsody Channels support), and a Microsoft 8GB Zune which was too big and awkward to handle. NOW I'm in Heaven! I really think that I have found my ideal MP3 player which is small, has lots of features for the money, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, has the Rhapsody DNA that I have sooo craved!! I have also read the online reviews about the Fuze and all of them gave it 4 out of 5 stars which sounds promising. I cannot WAIT to begin using it! Oh, and Brandon? Thanks for the welcoming email!

Well, the E200R series has been around for a little while (in technology time speaking anyway). Pretty much all of the new players (Clip, View, Fuze etc) have the Rhapsody helix built in so they can support the rhapsody channels. At the time, the only reason the R series was created, was that Rhapsody put in their own partition to be able to use the helix (for rhap channels). This has now been implemented into the same partition as the regular firmware of the player.
You'll def. love the Fuze though.. its the most stable player they make so far IMO.
(Be sure to get the latest firmware update that adds more stability and a few features)..
Also be on the lookout for OGG and FLAC support in the next firmware :)

Will do...will do and thanks for the head's up! I am now just about finished downloading my music library into my Fuze, so I have YET to see how it pans out although I have a VERY good feeling. It took some time though(about a couple of hours)where I had a LOT of tracks, but will be well worth it in the end. I especially can't wait till I try out the channels on the player--I just hope they don't take up too much room--there's only about 4 of them so far. I'll keep you updated...:o)
