I have several movies and much music loaded on my View. Is there a method to create a mirror image of the View memory on my PC so I can restore the device in case of failure? That is with a few simple steps w/o having to jump through hoops.

Secondly, I've used Real Player for the last couple of years and it worked well for me.  My usage was erratic, that is I'd download a few songs then would not use the service for several weeks in a row. Recently my good old Real Player "magically went away", replaced by Rapsody in order to squeeze more money out of me.

Is there a "free" version of the product that actually works without the constant bombardment of their upgrade "horse hockey"? Currently I've removed Real Player/Rapsody from my laptop and I'm using WMP.

Thank you

Ahh yes, Rhapsody woes are known well by me.. you are not alone. A free source for music that I've found (still DRM) but free, is Spiralfrog. You may wish to check them out.
As far as a mirror image of the View, you can pretty much just connect it to the computer, and copy the system tree to your computer somewhere.

Creating the mirror image should be no problem, but if you are looking to DL MP3s check this post out.

Tired of waiting for your device to do what you need it to?
