Can you help me with Charging: Sansa Community

Just a couple of questions so we can better get an idea of what we're working with :)
1. Is this a Desktop or Laptop computer
2. What operating system are you using
3. Is the computer going into sleep mode while the player is connected
4. Is it frozen on the connected screen when you disconnect it

We have tried recharging our new sansa clip on both a laptop and on our p.c. We have left it plugged into for more than 3.5 hours. The computers are on. The screen shows connected with the battery icon flilling up and going down, yet it never shows fully charged. And, when we try to use it, the battery has no charge at all. This is only 1 month old.

I had a similar problem. What I did was plug into the PC and update the firmware first. After that it charged fine.
