You're actually quite lucky that you haven't turned your Fuze into a paper weight yet. The Ipod connectors are wired differently and to a slightly higher amperage/voltage which normally results in a fried sansa player... so you'll definitely want to avoid using Ipod accessories with anything Sansa.
There are accessories for the Fuze. Some of which can be found at www.daydeals.com under the Sansa line. I'll look around for something similar to the Ihome and let you know what I come up with

Wow Brian you ARE lucky, but I agree--the Fuze is by far THE best MP3 player I have had so far and for a looong while to come from what I can see. For such a small player it packs quite a punch and I wouldn't trade it for anything. To better protect your baby it would be wise to invest in a silicone protective skin that they sell pretty cheaply at Amazon.com as well. That website has EVERYTHING under the sun and for good deals too. Usually the skin comes with an arm strap and belt buckle for when you're on the move so it's easier to carry. Good luck!
