Due to the time I've spent here, both researching before I made my purchases, and reading through many old posts, my whole experience has been relatively painless. I knew when I got the  firmware updater and the memory card that I needed to be in MSC mode, even though I wasn't 100% sure what it was at the time, and I've had only one brief hiccup with the player.
