I'm sure you guys have heard this before, but I am in dire need of a solution.

When I'm trying to add videos to my Sansa Fuze, using the SMC mind you, it will do te following.

Conversion bar- 100%

Total files- 49%

And this is where it freezes. No amount of time from what I've seen fixes this, and I'm beggining to suspect something more sinister is at work here, for I've tried the drag and drop method of known compatible file types and they don't even show up on the player, although they do show up on the VIDEO file.

I do have videos on the player, I was able to get 2 on it no problem at all until this catastrophe.

Do I need to format my player?

Its brand new so it wouldn't be much of a loss music and video wise but...

Any help would be appreciated.
