Does this user still need a reply, or hase she worked it out on her own.
We really need some way to expire these requests for help when they reach some level of maturity.
The answer to the question is to push the Fuze power slide switch to the 'up' position, hold it for >20 seconds. It will reset to factory specs. It's likely that doing so will erase any media on the unit, but at least you'll be able to start over again.
If this doesn't work, contact Sansa helpdesk for support. I don't have the telecon information, so try http://www.sansa.com/contact_us and select your preferred support contact method, direct email or the other email (general inquiries). If I get a helpdesk number later, I'll pass it on.

Hi: Rather new with this device - or any for that matter.
Was trying to download book and computer stuck, so I stupidly shut it down. Now I can't turn on the Fuze and I have about 10 books on it.
Happy Thanksgiving all - help me I am going to flip out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone undo what I have stupidly done!
