When I download books to my View from the local library, the chapters download out of order.  This did not used to happen.  Shuffle is off, in fact, I recently put the View settings back to the factory defaults and the problem still happened.  Is here a setting I'm missing?  Any suggestions?

Is it mulitple MP3 files? If so, you can download a free MP3 merger program to merge them into one mp3 file...maybe that would help?

Thank you kindly,
Scott

They are not mp3 files. They are .wma They normally load into the Music folder on the View. I drug them into the audiobook folder as a trial and they went in correctly. What a good guess! I hope. I'll know when I download another book.

and it works from there? I had heard that audio books in the Audiobook folder needed to be .aa files in order to work properly...??

Thank you kindly,

There are two books on the player now, one in the Audible folder and one in the Music folder. They are both .wma files and are both playing in the right order. It's very mysterious. When I look at the files on the player using my computer, it looks like the one book is in the Audible folder. When I look on the player iself, it looks like they are both considered albums in the Music section. There is nothing in the Music/audiobooks folder.
