I'm baaaack...lol!!  Last night, I tried plugging in my Sansa Fuze to download some songs from Rhapsody and BOTH USB Ports didn't recognize my device.  I emailed Real(Rhapsody)and come to find out it wasn't them, but either the player itself, or my USB Ports.  I tried it on Windows Media Player and that didn't even recognize my player.  I tried restarting my computer--no go.  As was requested by Real, I even changed the setting on my player from "Auto-Detect" to "MTP" and THAT didn't even make a difference, so NOW I'm beginning to think that there is something wrong with the player itself.  My USB Ports seems to be fine since my printer worked properly on both of them.  I even downloaded the Sansa Updater and that didn't recognize my player.  Could someone--ANYONE give me a logical solution to this problem before I blow MY fuze???    I JUST downloaded some songs from Rhapsody the other day and it was working FINE...**shaking head**  Thanks in advance!

Try going it Settings>USB mode and setting for MTP mode. See if that helps.
BTW, glad to see you back!

Hey Brandon,

I already tried that--BELIEVE me! I even tried hooking it up to my computer at work and it was recognized on THAT computer, so it sounds like it may be my computer itself...IDK. *shaking head*

I does sound like a computer problem. Do you have any other USB connections that it likes or dislikes?

YAY--it's fixed!! After about several hours of being on the phone with Sandisk, and Dell, it aaall came down to doing a "system restore" which refreshes my computer to an earlier time. God if I had known THAT, I would have saved myself $69.00 which Dell charged me where my warranty already expired in December--UGH!! But that's all you do--system restore in case anyone else should come across the same problem. I think what I did (stupidly) was install one of those free registry cleaners which may have screwed up my USB Port somehow. Anyway-just sooo glad it's fixed. Thanks anyway for your help Brandon, and tell my Apix I said "Hello" too--I miss that guy...lol!! :o)

Glad you got it working. I miss Apix too. He has had his hands full lately. But he will be back to help, I am, sure.
