I am wondering who may be interested in the new slotRadio player from Sansa.

Here is their promo video. Just click on the picture.

It looks like a really neat product. My question is this: can one load their own songs onto a MicroSD card and play them in the player, or do they have to be the pre-loaded purchased ones?

If you could make your own custom cards, that would make it an intriguing product.

Pete there are really 2 different slotMusic cards.
One is the aprrox $15.00 one that comes with a CD size list of songs from one artist. That one you can buy and copy other songs to it or listen from any SD compatible device.

The other one, the 1,000 song card is not out yet. I don't know if you can or would even want to add songs to it. It will all depend on the genre offering. For example if they had a card that was 1,000 songs from the 70s you would be hard pressed to find a 70s song that they don't have.

I guess we will have to wait until it is released.

The 1,000 song pre-loaded card sounds intriguing. I wonder how much something like that would cost. If it was reasonably priced it could be very interesting!

From what I understand the 1,000 song card is going to be sold at $39.99 so this would be a sweet deal.
