Ive had my View for about a week. I was able to download over 200 songs, I plugged it in last night to charge it and today all of my songs are gone replaced by 10 that were previously downloaded. Is there a way to stop this deleting?

I think that if you over charge your Sansa View it will delete all your files. I realized this morning when I told my cousin and he said the same thing happens to his Ipod. He also said to not overcharge it. Now in your case, only 10 songs were still there, so it might be a syncing problem or not.

New firmware update must have fixed this. I have mine for a month and have never had this issue and I over charge mine all the time. It is a strange error since the battery should have nothing to do with the storage.

I would look closer at the syncing software settings. I do not use the software that comes with the Sansa to put files on my player, I just drag and drop the folders and files directly into the Music or Video folder. The problem you are describing has never happened on my player or my 14 year old daughter who manages her music the same way her player.
