I have an 8gig e260 that's been nothing but a source of trouble....   Constantly freezing.  All of the "Off the wall" hints and tips have no effect ... I can only let the battery run down, and it's good again for another month...    Wondering if the newer generation Sansa's are a little more reliable..  Any suggestions, or should I just give it up and get a walkman??

I have both a e260 and a view 32 and love them both. I rarely have any issues, let alone the ones you describe. I think you are the happy owner of what is called a lemon! ;-) I actually like my 260 better because it is smaller and seems stronger as far as build. Have you updated your firmware? If not I bet that is most of your problems.

I have a View 16 and it works great. I also have a couple of Clips. I make sure whatever Sansa product I have is updated to the latest version. Doing this I have had no problems.
