You may need to reformat your player and then put the songs back on it to make it work again.
I am really trying to work with my Sansa View. The latest problem I am having is that it is now listing the songs on my albums twice. The list is accurate cause it also plays each song in order twice.
My PC does not confirm the double list. But the player absolutely does.
Any answers to this. Thanks, I want to love my player but right now I dont.
I tried reformatting both drives and updating the module.
Not all my albums list double songs but many do. And when I clean it up they are not the same ones that change.
Most recently I have controlled it by removing my SD card.
I bought the unit for its total capacity with the chip.
Any help would be appreciated

I think I would call Sansa Support and see if they can help. My dealing with them have all been positive.

I had exactly this problem. I normally use MSC and all my files were originally transferred to the View in this mode - than the problem occurred with the multiple entries. Refreshing helped sometimes to solve it for a while but the same files (!) kept doubling and even worse (10 times the same entry!).
So, the solution that works now 100 % with my View was to change the MTP-mode and to transfer the files that kept changing to the view in this mode. Afterwards, I change back to my preferred MSC-Mode (& delete the corresponding MSC-Files). Well, now are not all the files & folders visible at the same time when connected to the PC but this doesn’t disturb me at all and the View shows all the files as single entries – as it should be and I can use the MSC-mode.
