Hi, I just bought my first mp3 player, a Sansa view. I can't seem to even get started because my pc won't recognize the software on the cd that was sent. Could it be because I have windows 2000 nt and not XP? Can anyone help me get started? I originally wanted to download audiobooks, but now that i see it can do so much, I'm interested in movies, music and books! Can anyone guide me? Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.
I'm a total newbie to this. I can't install from the cd that came with the player. Please help me.

I had no problem changing it to usb mode, but there must be a generic program that will allow me to download music or books to my sansa view. I would truly appreciate any hints you may have. As I said, I'm a total newbie to mp3 players. Thanks.
Are you trying to install the Sansa program itself? If so you need the updater..
You can get it here. http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376
Nope, I finally figured out that I cannot use this mp3 player because I have windows 2000. There doesn't appear to be a driver for windows 2000. I've searched all over the web and sansa sites and can't find one. Now what do I do? I've played the sample music on the view and I love the sound. I can change it to MTB mode, that's not the problem. The problem is my computer's os. Any help for me?
