I have a pretty large/long (692,658KB) WMV slide show (200+ pic's w/ music) that I am trying to get onto my Sansa Fuze.I have tried using the Sansa Media Converter, but it runs for about 1hr 45min and then fails. I've tried it 2 times and it failed both times.

I have 2.9 GB of free space on my Fuze.

What I have tried so far ...

I download a free WMV to AVI Converter. It works. I did a straight across (no compression) conversion. It took about 3 1/2 hours. When done, the converted AVI is huge 3.8 GB. It will not fit on my Fuze.

The converter has  7 compression options:  1) Cinepak Codec by Radius   2) Intel Indeo Video R3.2   3) Intel Indeo Video 4.5   4)Intel IYUV codec   5)Microsoft Video 1    6) Indeo Video 5.10  7)Lead MCMP/MJPEG Codec (VFM)

I tried the converter again with option   6) Indeo Video 5.10    It ran for 4 hours. The converted AVI was still too big to fit on my fuze 3.05 GB.

Any suggestions how I can get this WMV Slide Show onto my Fuze w/ 2.9 free GB? Would one of the Converters 7 other compression options make it small enough? Something should work, since the WMV size is only 6.9 MB!

Does the Fuze only play AVI format video's? If it will actually play another format, what is it?

Thanks, RH
