The Sansa 2nd-gen players, like the Fuze and Clip, will play MP3, WMA, WMA secure, WAV, JPEG, and MPEG4 file types. You can tell what generation you player is a member of by reading the 'Settings' --> 'Info' --> 'Version' menu entry. If it shows 'V02.[something], it will support those file types. So, if Audible.com provides media in any of those types, you should be able to read them.
I own a couple of the earlier Sanza Players with 1 and 2 GB of storage space and want to use an MP3 player to listen to books such as the ones on Audible.com
I am considering buying the SanDisk Sansa Connect 4GB MP3 Player w/2.2" LCD Display and I noticed on Audible.com that this device is not listed.
If I buy the connect will I be able to listen to books by authors such as James Patterson or Dan Brown from Audible.com or some other vendor without a lot of file manipulation.
