Hi,

Sansa Clip+

Yes it was a Christmas gift...

Yes I love it!

So what do we do most when we receive a new toy? Screw with  it of course.

When I was doing that I somehow changed the language from English to something else.

I can't even tell you what the language is and I can't find English enywhere. I can't even find French or German or all the standard non-English languages. I found settings and that's as far as I can go.

Please Help

Maxine

Language should be the first option under the Settings menu. The first option under Language is English.

If you can't do this, then you might need to reset the clip.

I finally just called Tech Support. Thank you for the help.
It was the 3rd or 4th choice on the main settings list
It was the 5th choice on the second settings list that finally led to the main list of languages that I could actually recognize.

I don't know how so many different possibilities can exist per one unit. There were only 4 choices in the first list of settings.
System settings is the 4th one down, that's 3 clicks
Language is the 5th one down, that's 4 clicks
It's easy to find English after that because it's in 'english'

I tried the live chat feature at sandisk.com tech support and it was useless. I was there for aprox 40 minutes and got exactly nowhere. Excruciatingly slow.

This ultimately did flash through my mind...

I finally broke down and called. It took 5 to 10 minutes.

Thanks again
Linda

I'm glad you got it sorted out!

You must have a different OS version than I've got. Have fun with your new clip. :D
