I have a Fuze that act in a similar way. It is usually battery dead, I found out because it wakes itself up in storage, goes into the endless reboot cycle until the batt is dead.
I hope a moderator will answer this thread.
I hate to lose this player because I like it a lot.
After enough fooling around, I can usually get it to "connect" with the computer and recharge, sometimes works sometimes not.
It dies frequently while refreshing the dbase, now the player will play (temporarily) by the computer won't see any of the files on it. I was able to upload a small video to it, but that is the only thing the computer sees.
I wanted to offload the fuze and reformat it. I am thinking the memory is probably harshed by all the unsuccessful refreshes.
Moderator, got any help for us???
Thank you
I press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and it shows the shutdown video with the goodbye. Immediately afterwards it just boots up again. Doesn't matter how long I hold the power button (short or long). If you try to put it on hold right after I power it down, it gives me a "Please unlock the HOLD switch to power on" message and the player just keeps looping turning back on and off over and over with the message.
I connected to the computer and it could not find it, with that the screen went white and will not shut off.
PS: I waited about two hours and then I tried to turn off and it turned off, I then charged it and then turned it on and so far it works.
