I am new to Sansa.  Does anyone have any tips on prolonging the life of the Fuze battery (8gb)?  for instance, is it better to listen to the player plugged in and charging, or to let it run on the battery and charge when depleted?  I want my Fuze to last longer than 2 years, my wife won't let me buy another player for a while....

thanks in advance

I don't own a Sansa (yet) but was looking for Sansa tips, and came across this posting. My guess is that you'd want to 1) keep it plugged in when using, if possible, and 2) try not to run the battery dry. If it's like most batteries, it's better to leave a little charge than drain it dry--kind of like the gas in your car.

Can anyone back this up--or correct me, if I'm wrong?
