I was able to use a Clip in my car for a while, but it stopped working. (See this thread )

 Now I'm looking for a new player. I have a USB charger from the car's Accessory power, and an audio input to the car stereo system with a 3.5mm plug. 

 I want a player that will turn itself on when DC power is applied by a USB charger and go into play mode. When DC power is turned off, I would like it to shut down. The next time power is applied, it should pick up playing again from where it was when it shut down.

I want to get an inexpensive player so it won't be a target for theft, and because the automotive environment is tough.

Any suggestions?
