Are you using the sansa media converter?
Only way I found to view videos on the e260 is by using the sansa media converter. One thing though, if it was made in widescreen, the resulting image on the sansa e260 will be elongated for the sansa media converter simply fills the screen on the vertical keeping the horizontal the same. If so, try converting the video first to a DIVx format giving it the 320 x 240 aspect ratio, it will show normally but with black lines on top and botton, just as you do when playing 16:9 movies on a 4:3 TV set.
my boyfriend gave me a new sandisk sansa e260 mp4 player, I enjoyed using it, but last week when me and my friends went out for a party, and one of my friends Dorinda had a digital cam so she recorded a part of the party dancing, I asked for a copy of the vide which is in mpeg4 type. but I cant download it to my sansa device, a message appears saying that the file may be coppied, but can not be played/vied in the device,
