I'm having problems using the recovery tool. I have had the device
since 2007. About a couple of years ago it quit working and I was
able to reinstall the firmware and get it going. My problem started
when I tried to add some mp3s then I got the message. The device
has either stopped responding or has been disconnected. I downloaded
the newest recovery tool and this failed. I read all the post about how to
use the recovery tool. I created the recovery.bat file and did as instructed.
The recovery tool always halts on Failed to GetusbDevice FileName err - 0
And when i hold the right button down and the volume up button nothing
happens. My computer recognizes the device.
