Okayy, so I have Sansa Clip 2GB. and a mac. And I wanted to change my music, and even though I deleted all of it, it showed that I don't have enough space for the other music. Annnd you know those files, that you're not supposed to delete?Well, I deleted them and now my mp3 player is not working AT ALL. The computer won't respond if I plug it in, and it won't turn on. any idea what should I do?...

please. help! :]

Maybe "Recuva" file recovery will be of help. It says it can recover deleted files from mp3 player but I haven't tried that myself. You can download it at www.piriform.com/Recuva . It is listed as one of the top 10 free software to install on your new computer at guidingtech.com.

I don't have any connection with or endorse either of the above mentioned sites.

Recuva
File Recovery

Accidentally deleted an important file? Lost something important when your computer crashed? No problem! Recuva recovers files deleted from your Windows computer, Recycle Bin, digital camera card, or MP3 player. And it's free!

I just did the same thing. I researched and found out that if you hold up the switch that turns on your sansa- i.e. push it up like you are turning it on, but hold it there for 15 seconds, it will re-set your player. It will put back all essential files needed to transfer music, etc. The draw back is that you WILL LOSE all songs etc that are on the sansa, but it WILL restore all files needed to add to it again and be able to use it. I would back up all music and audio (if you can) so you can transfer it back again. At least it gets you Sansa working again. Hope this helps.
