I have a new Sansa Clip Zip that I would like to play on my car stereo.  My car stereo has an aux input where I can plug in a 3.5 mm headphone cable.  I have a cable with 3.5 mm male jacks at both ends.  I plug one end into the player and the other end into the car stereo.  I have been using this cable and stereo with my old Zune for years without any problems.

When I plug the Clip Zip into the car stereo, the sound doesn't work right.  The player appears to be playing normally, but all I hear is a very brief snippet of sound about every one second or so.  When I take the cable out and plug my headphones in, it sounds just fine.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks.
