Micro Swipes: What They Are and Why you Need One

Let me educated you (here's where a semester of textiles studies comes in handy): The density of polyester fibers used in fabrics are meausred in deniers, the lower the denier the finer the threads used to make the fabric. This is similar to thread count, which measures cotton fabric density. What is the ultimate benefit of microfiber? Well, because of its ultra-fineness it is often used in polishing and cleaning glass poducts because it wipes away clean, without the residue that paper towels and even terrycloth linens can leave behind. JAVOedge has developed this thumb-sized, microfiber "swipe" that can be used to quickly clean the screen of your cell phone, portable gaming device, or... you guessed it, your Sansa mp3 player! I even used it on my eyeglasses with super-clear results. It's the perfect size for your pocket, purse, desk, it even has a small elastic cord you can loop around headphones or a small notch on your compact devices. I often wondered where I could buy these (I recieved a similar product with my Motorola Razr a few...

My girlfriend would love to have a good armband case for her e250, but we can't seem to find one anywhere that doesn't cost at least $25 or more. Before I scour the Internet, do any Sansa experts have any recommendations for the best low-budget case for this model?

What Happens When You Drop a Sansa Express in Water?

I know you're dying to know. I wish I didn't know, but it's a tale as old as time. Who hasn't dropped a cellphone/mp3 player/other electronic device into a toilet/puddle/bathtub/washer/sink/etc.... My sister dropped my not-so-beloved iPod into her bubble bath (so much for a relaxing soak). Of course, I forgave her, but I gave it to a guy I work with, who happens to fix and sell iPods, and he said that although the screen went black after the submersion, all it needed was a good charge and it was like nothing happened. I have also heard similar stories of Creative Lab and SanDisk products working just peachy after an unintentional bath. But what happened to my Sansa, is a different story. Like my sister before me, I was trying to take one of those relaxing baths you hear all about, and it was great (in case you were curious) up until *plunk* went my Sansa. I pulled that sucker out in less than three seconds, I swear; there was no way that thing was under water for more than five. It gurgled a few notes, then died. I rushed to towel-dry it and then used a blow dryer to...

Mode of Service: The drive comes with 6 months of service included, but users will then have to pay $30 a year for the online backup to continue. Storage: "SanDisk is offering an appealing package for consumers by marrying both online and offline storage into one easy and intuitive device, letting users take their files everywhere with less worry about data loss," said Motti Vaknin, CEO of BeInSync .
