Avoiding Stalled Downloads

Hi Sansa Community: Matt wrote me and encouraged me to share helpful information with the group. So, here's how I cured the dreaded "Stalled Download" when downloading audiobooks from my library. It was so easy! After trying lots of other options, I simply increased the Virtual Memory in my computer. Go to My Computer, View System Information under System Tasks, and choose the Advanced tab, Performance tab, and Advanced tab. Then choose Virtual Memory and increase the amount allocated. I re-set mine to 4000 initial, 9000 maximum. After I did that, I was able to download and transfer an audiobook to my Sansa Clip Plus with no problem. I hope this helps someone.
skip (jump) back and forth a few seconds?

I've a number of old mp3 players which are getting a bit long in the tooth so I'm looking for a replacement. I use the players for language study and need an option to jump back or forth (usually just back!) 3,4 or 5 secs to repeat a section just once. ( This is sometimes achieved with a touch on the rewind button but many players can't provide a specific interval). Also when a section requires repeated listenings then an A-B type loop (down to a min of, say, 3 secs) is essential. Can I do this with the clip player? Thanks for any insights (or even suggestions for cheap players which fit the bill - I don't need mp4 or any visual media options - just mp3).
