Sandisk sent me a replacement for my Sansa m250 because the volume button had broken - great! Not so great - the new player won't download any album or artist info. The downloaded song will play, but the screen lists all that info as unknown so I can't sort my music or anything. I spent a frustrating 25 minutes on the phone the other night with live customer service (he was AWFUL!) and at the end he said he would email me instructions on how to update the firmware, but I've never gotten those instructions. So I checked the website and couldn't find a fimware update for the m-series. Next I emailed customer service for the instructions and they haven't sent them to me, either. Needless to say I am very disappointed. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions? Quick info: -I'm running Windows XP -Songs play, but do not show info -I have made sure the mp3 player was in the proper mode for downloading -I'm running Windows Media Player 10 with current updates -I have made sure the music is in .wmp or other compatible format on my PC -I checked to make sure all the artist...

Have an m320 using with Itunes on a mac book. I was able to convert songs to mp3 and then just drag them into the m320 while connected via usb. now I want to delete and add different songs, but when I deleted a bunch of songs, they don't show up on the player but the player is still indicating that the memory is full and I can't add any new songs. I've only got 5 songs on it but it says it's as full as if I had 40 or so. any ideas? thanks.

My name is Bob and I received an m200 for Christmas. I am unable to copy my own personal CD's to this unit. A friend, who is an experienced mp3 user, attempted to make things work. He could not. We (he) tried every front door, side door, back door... just short of "McGivering" it into submission- attempt but nothing worked. My friend thinks there is a step missing from the manual, maybe lost in translation. Any response would be appreciated.

My daughter gave me her m240 player recently. How do I delete all of the music that she had downloaded? I want to do this before I download my music. Also, when my husband had first bought the player, he had signed up for a free trial on the website "URGE" and when the free trial was over he never renewed the subscription. Now when I turn on the player a message comes on reading..."SYNCRONIZE TO CONTINUE MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION". What does that mean? Do I have to do something before I delete the old music? Speaking of music....Does anyone know of any websites where I can download FREE music from the "Golden Oldies of the 50's, 60's & 70's"? I would greatly appreciate any recommendations. I've been having a hard time finding one.....either you have to pay for it or sign up for a free trial and then pay for it. Thank you

I have a Sandisk Sansa m240 that works fine with a broken lcd. I want to be able to switch it to msc mode so i can at least use it as a flash drive. The problem is, i cant navigate the menu's because i cant see whats going on. It still plays songs fine and backlight still comes on, so i know it still works. I was hoping a person who has a m240 or similar player can give step by step directions of what buttons i need to press to get me to the settings and switch it to msc mode, b/c i cant see anything on the screen. It is at the main screen where it plays music at the moment. So i know where i am all i need to know is how to navigate the menus on a broken lcd. Please, can somebody nice help me. If i had another m240 i would be able to do it myself, but i dont and this is my brothers player before it broke, so i am unfarmiliar with the menus.

I thought I would post it over here too in order to help anyone out. The bottom line is that there are some good videos here: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default...
