I bought an album off Amazon and copied in to my Sansa. The songs play just fine but will not advance to the next song. It just keeps replaying the first song even if I tell it to play all. What am I doing wrong?

Sansa Clip won't copy in order

Sansa Clip won't copy in order? When I create a "teaching series" download for my Clip I begin by creating a new folder on my laptop then copy the individual teachings into the folder in the order I want them to play. I then drag the folder to my Clip. Disconnect the clip from my Laptop. Then open my Clip to find the download and everytime the individual teachings are out of order. I've tried copying just the individual teaching onto the Clip in the order I want them but when I'm done and disconnect from the Laptop once again they not saved in any particular order on the Clip? When I copy to a micro secure disk the Clip will open the files in the order that I've copied them to the SD? That's what I've resigned myself to doing....but it aint right!

Problem with Clip Zip working with car stereo

I have a new Sansa Clip Zip that I would like to play on my car stereo. My car stereo has an aux input where I can plug in a 3.5 mm headphone cable. I have a cable with 3.5 mm male jacks at both ends. I plug one end into the player and the other end into the car stereo. I have been using this cable and stereo with my old Zune for years without any problems. When I plug the Clip Zip into the car stereo, the sound doesn't work right. The player appears to be playing normally, but all I hear is a very brief snippet of sound about every one second or so. When I take the cable out and plug my headphones in, it sounds just fine. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks.

Slotradio playing in car

I've recently bought an 8GB Sansa Clip+ with a 32GB SD card, loaded it up with music and it works great until I connect it via the USB to my car. It insists on playing an intro to SlotRadio over and over again and I am unable to access the music that I actually want to listen to! How can I get it to play the mp3's rather than the slotradio?

New Clip+ 8GB not working - screen shows only "Music>"

I took delivery of a new Clip+ 8GB today. I charged the battery via a USB port on my laptop (I'm using Windows 7), then copied a few podcasts to the Clip+; I also synced it with Windows Media Player (not sure whether I needed to do that?). Problem I have that I'm unable to play, or even see, any of the files on the player: all I see is an icon of a pair of headphones and "Music>". I've read the manual which came with the player, also had a look at the downloaded manual but im can't see how to get started with the player. Also, I seem to have only 220 Kb of the internal memory free. Am I missing something obvious, or have I somehow screwed up my new purchase? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Clip+ problem need help

Im having huge issues with my clip+ when i turn it on with usb connection it says file not found and turns off. when i connect a usb to it it loads up sansa then the icon of the computer and clip appears,says writing briefly,then connected.however my computer doesn't recognise this connection,and there is no other external drive in view. also i tried it under mtp and msc and seems not to make a difference. please help!!!!!!

I lost my sansa and the girl who found it gave it back to me. I said "disconnected" for a few hours and wouldn't respond to being plugged in or and buttons i pushed. It deletedall of my music and won't charge or come on. what happened what can i do!?!?! My warrenty expired but i opened it less than a year ago so it can't be that it is old.

Clip+ in slow motion

So, I am having a problem with my player wanting to play in slow motion. I can bump it and it will play at the correct speed, sometimes. Is anyone else having this promlem? I have read all the post and just wondering if this is the way a freeze starts OR what to do to fix the problem. It also don't want to turn off at times. I only use this one for Audiobooks, just not good to hear a wonderful mp3 player in slow motion.

Music folder and music disappeared, and unable to eject device

Here's the whole story My 4gb Clip stopped working during a jog the other day. It would only turn on when plugged into to either a computer or charger, and would lose power immediately upon disconnecting. In the course of messing with it, I took all of my music off of it and then formatted it to see if that would help. It didn't. I finally tracked down the problem to the red battery lead coming unsoldered, so I soldered it back on and the Clip is powering up fine now. But when I plug it into the computer, the music folder is no longer there and the device won't let me make a new folder on it. I have 2 folders, data and media. The data folder only has a devlcon.fil file and media has nothing in it. Upon plugging into another computer, a very different set of folders showed up, I believe it was audibles, music, and voice. I copied a few songs into the music folder that showed up on this computer, but when I plugged the Clip back into my computer, the music folder isn't there. Can'tTurn Up The Volume

I have a 2GB Clip that works in all ways except I can't turn up the volume. If I push on the down volume end of the bar, I get the display with the little speakers at each end and the bar is empty indicating 0 volume. If I push on the volume up end of the bar nothing changes. If I start by pushing the volume up end of the bar, I don't the display with the little speakers at each end. Is the volume up switch dead? Anyone else have this problem? The 15 second reset has no effect.

Taskbar Icon

Hi...I have just replaced my hard drive by cloning and so far there are no problems with any of the programs I have tried so far except when I connect my Sansa Clip 4GB to the USB port I no longer see a taskbar icon for the player. I used to be able to hover my mouse over the icon and see information like % charged, etc. Or I could click on the icon to open the box with complete information device information and links to update, etc. The player works fine, charges properly and shows up as a device in Winamp. I found the icon very convenient for managing the player and I was wondering how to get it back. Thanks.

No volume on FM Radio (Clip)

The original Sansa Clip was released in Fall 2007 and the Clip+ was released in Fall 2009, so does that suggest there will be a refresh this Fall? Also, has anyone heard what improvements might be included on the next generation of the Clip, such as the option for a 16gb drive?

OK,, So this is my third Sansaclip+. First two failed RIGHT AFTER the warranty period..Hmm. Now my third has failed. I contected the company and (of course) they said its not there problem. Heres the thing.. Just because theres a one year warrranty, doesnt mean the device should only be expected to last a YEAR!!! a company should back its loyal customers. If they dont America doesnt need them. 3 mp3 players in 4 years??? They SUK... Is it my fault for THINKING there not desposible?
