Frankly, I'm disappointed. At first, I thought I could get a little player that I could plug my microsdhc(8gb) into, and have a $20 8gb shuffleplayer to wear as a beater, with AAA batteries. But there's no shuffle!! So I may go back to my plan of getting a Clip...hopefully, the upcoming 8gb version will drop the price of the 2gb one, and the Fuze can stay home.

Due to the time I've spent here, both researching before I made my purchases, and reading through many old posts, my whole experience has been relatively painless. I knew when I got the firmware updater and the memory card that I needed to be in MSC mode, even though I wasn't 100% sure what it was at the time, and I've had only one brief hiccup with the player. The moderators, administrators, editors, even many of the members seem quite knowledgeable and helpful, so thanks to all

My Fuze is frozen...truly frozen. Screen is on, on pause track152/552, and I can't do anything. I was listening to it, decided it would be cool to put some pictures on it, so I downloaded the Sansa Media Converter. The installation seemed fine. I paused the Fuze, pulled the headphone jack out, plugged in the USB....and nothing else would happen. "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it" I click the box and..."Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize the device, replace the device" Any ideas? I'm running XP Pro version 2002 service pack 3, if that helps. Any help would be appreciated

Radio Retaliation - Has Thievery Corporation Gotten Too Political?

I've been a longtime fan of Thievery Corporation . Ever since I first purchased Sounds of the Thievery Hi-Fi, they have been one of my most listened to groups, if not the most listened to, in my entire collection. I've liked some of their albums better than others (Sounds of the Thievery Hi-Fi, Abductions and Reconstructions, and the Mirror Consipracy are my favorites) but I still love (and own) every one. My concern with their new album, Radio Retaliation, is that they may be getting too political, and that could mire what is in my opinion the "purity" of their music. I'm not concerning myself with what the message is, only that there is indeed a message, and that it could overpower the essence and purity of their "outernational" sound. (Although some may argue that being outspoken about your feelings on world issues is the essence of their sound.) Admittedly, many of their other albums are political or at least have some political themes (read: The Richest Man In Babylon ) and I have never minded, since it seems well-integrated into the music. The preview on MySpace ( ugh, I know, but it has a preview ) sounds great, though,...

Hi all, I have quite a few music files loaded onto my Sansa. I have never had any problems with the music files or playback until recently. Now, when I play ANY of my music files, I can hear the instrumental in the background crystal clear, but the vocals sound extremely muffled and scratchy. I can't figure out why for the life of me. Could it be an issue regarding my settings, or does it sound more like a hardware or software issue? Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

After the report came out, Samsung spokesperson said: "We are looking at various opportunities regarding SanDisk (NSDQ: SNDK), but nothing has been decided yet." The story said Samsung had hired J.P.
I have a Sansa e250.. and im having trouble with it. I followed these steps I found online which helped me last time .... 1) Double click on My Computer so that you can see it on your screen. 2) Turn the player off. You might have to hold the power button down for up to 20 seconds to force the player off. 3) On the top of the player is a Hold switch, move it to the right (toward the headphone jack) so you see Orange. 4) On the left hand side of the player is a Record button, press and hold it while connecting the player to the computer. Continue holding the Record button until you see a new icon under My Computer called 16MB FORMAT. Once you see that icon you may release the Record button. 5) Double-click on the 16MB Format icon on your computer. 6) Create a new text file by clicking on the File Menu-->New-->Text Document. 7) Rename the new file to 'sansa.fmt'. 8) Disconnect the player from your computer and it will reformat your player. You will lose all your content, but your player should be back to working order. However, its not...

Who the hell does Rhianna think she is?

So, a few weeks ago I hear the radio man announce the newest single from Rhianna. Yeah, I know, she's like, so hot right now, right? I loved that "Umbrella" song the first 100 times I heard it. So what's the name of the pop tart's newest ditty? "Take a Bow." WTF is this? A cover of the 1994 Madonna ballad I hold in such high regard as one of the most wrenching break-up songs ever? Let's see if this girl can hold a candle to her Madgesty.... But Rhianna doesn't even get the chance. Why would you write a song about how a break-up resembles the final act of a performance, when it's already been done so superbly by Madonna and (co-writer) Babyface? And to have the further audacity to give it the same name of what so happened to be the highest-selling single of 1995? It's a darn rip-off. And considering how vindictive the persnickity queen of pop can be, Rhianna is lucky she isn't getting her *** sued. But then again, I guess it's not her fault because she didn't even write it. Here is madonna's video: Here is Rhianna's I dunno; I might be coming off...

I sooo need your help right now you have No idea. I did everything you told me to do as far as the MP3 Gain goes, and then I did something really stupid(surprise surprise). I was going through my Music Files and was "cleaning house" so to speak only I cleaned a little TOO much where I deleted EVERYTHING in the hopes of, when I go to redownload my music into my Rhapsody Library, that it wouldn't duplicate, so I figured I would just start fresh and delete everything and then redownload my subscription music from scratch except that it didn't download into my Music Folder at all. And THAT means I can't use the MP3 Gain where I have NO Music Files stored thanks to my tiny & useless brain-- HEEELPP!!
