How to use DVD Fab for ripping DVDs for the Sansa View

OK First off I want to say I'm no expert. Everything I'm posting is what I learned by expermenting with the DVD Fab program and what I found has worked very well on my Sansa View. To start with you will need the DVD Fab program which you can get at www.dvdfab.com . I am using the latest version of DVD Fab Platinum. First you need insert your DVD and open your DVD Fab program. Once you have done that you need to click where it says DVD to Mobile. Now you need to click on the iPod / iPhone option. At the top where it says target you need to select a folder where you want your video to go or use what ever default folder that the program use. You will also see where it says Subpicture, this is the subtitles. If you don't want the subtitles in your video then uncheck this option. Now you need to click on Next. Now you will see the DVD title shown. Click on Coversion Settings. Now click on Advanced Resolution Settings. Now under Resolution List make sure you select Supported by Device. For those of you who may have missed it or like me couldn't get there this year Sansa was showing off their new SlotRadio player among their other products at CES 2009 . I first heard Lady GaGa last fall, on the local dance/techno radio station (R.I.P. KNRJ) and I've been groovin' on her sound ever since. Her hit "Just Dance" has transcended genres and is now on local top 40 stations. Take a look: She's so.... rad. GaGa takes her name from the Queen hit "Radio GaGa" and is inspired by David Bowie, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. With muses like that, how can you go wrong? Her look is something to be awed at as well; a recent photo of her wearing nothing but leggings, a jacket, and neon green bikini bottoms in London's chilly winter had my jaw dropping. She has said her album The Fame "is about how anyone can feel famous. Pop culture is art. It doesn't make you cool to hate pop culture, so I embraced it and you hear it all over 'The Fame'. But, it's a sharable fame. I want to invite you all to the party. I want people to feel a part of this lifestyle." Womanizer by Britney (and Others!)

So, at this time, I think we are all aware of the somewhat successful comeback of Britney Spears since her disasterous "Blakout" era, which not only describes the name of her album at the time, but an apt description of her life in general. But since then, she's ditched some of the more unsavory characters present in her life, hired back her old manager, Larry Rudolph, and has released "Circus", an album that reminds some of us of the old Britney many of us loved. Okay, so many of us NEVER liked her, but whether or not you ever did, you gotta admit she's doin' a LOT better. And even if you're not a fan, it is sad. It's sad because she was just a little girl exploited by her parents and svengali producers because, c'mon, it's what she wanted! It was her passion, right? Coldplay: Musical Genisues or Rip-off Artists?

Have you heard of this? Before I get into the details, just view the video for yourself: Andrew Hoepfner, songwriter and singer for a little-known American band called Creaky Boards, is a little pissed that Coldplay's megahit "Viva La Vida" sounds like his song called, ironically, "The Songs I Didn't Write". He even (sarcastically...?) accuses Coldplay frontman Chris Martin of being in the crowd at a Creaky Boards performance in New York back in October of '07. So here's the facts (courtesy of Songfacts.com): Martin was working at the Air Studio in London at the time of the 2007 performance in question, so that theory is wiped out. Additionally, "Viva La Vida" was written and demoed seven months prior to the aformentioned Creaky Boards show in NYC. But on that note, Hoepfner reversely could not have plaigarized a song that was not yet released for public listening. To me, this is just one really big coincidence. They say great minds think alike, and these songs are both good in their own right. I personally like Coldplay's topic, but commend Creaky Boards for breaking out with a song comparative to a Grammy-nominated hit. This is a tale as old as time,...

Katy Perry: So Hot AND Cold

Ok, I am officially in love with this girl. How do you follow up to this summer's smashing "I Kissed a Girl"? The answer is "Hot and Cold", below: I've heard this song on the radio a few times, but saw the official video for the first time today. What at first sounds like a kindergarten lesson on antonyms is actually a metaphor for a dude who just can't make up his mind. I mean, who hasn't been there, right? Plus, her style is just so hot. The wedding motif may be a nod to Madonna's "Like a Virgin", which Perry covered in her recent VMA performace.
